Introduction to the Field Human Resources (FHR) Department, MSF Australia
The Field Human Resources (FHR) Department recruits, places, and supports medical and nonmedical field staff working in MSF’s medical humanitarian projects worldwide.
3 days a week, with a focus on recruitment activity
The HRO – Recruitment and Development, along with the second HRO Recruiter manages and coordinates the recruitment and training process of new MSFA Fieldworkers.
The role is responsible for ensuring applicants are moved through the recruitment pipeline efficiently, interviewing shortlisted candidates, and delivering a positive candidate experience for all applicants in Australia and New Zealand.
The HRO will also work in close collaboration with each of the Operational Centres to achieve their objectives of recruitment and meet the needs of the field.
The HRO is also involved in the delivery of recruitment marketing and branding activity, including the delivery of webinars and public information presentations as needed.
The HRO will also be central to contribution to the implementation and delivery of the recruitment strategy to ensure that the organisation meets its recruitment objectives and targets.
