Médecins Sans Frontières is the world’s leading independent medical-humanitarian aid organisation. The Australian office is in a period of significant growth, with increasing community recognition and support.   The main functions of the Australian office are fundraising, recruitment of field workers, raising awareness through communications and providing medical and operational support. 

 

The Fundraising Officer fills a supportive role in the Marketing and Fundraising team for both MSF Australia and MSF New Zealand. The primary role of the Fundraising Officer is to provide day to day support on projects to the Direct Marketing Coordinator, Donor Acquisition & Marketing Coordinator, Direct Marketing and Planned Giving Coordinator and the Direct Marketing Manager.   

 

This position is also responsible for managing the community fundraising program for MSF Australia and MSF New Zealand and provides administrative support on a range of various projects.   

 

The primary success measure for this position is the successful co-ordination and completion of nominated tasks as well as the successful management of the Community Fundraising program. In addition, non-tangibles including maintenance of brand integrity and relationships with both internal and external stakeholders are also vital to the successful fulfillment of the role.
