Chad: Hepatitis E and Water Supply

Since September 2016, Médecins Sans Frontières  has been providing medical care to people infected with hepatitis E. Often fatal, the virus is mainly transmitted by contaminated water. Médecins Sans Frontières  is improving sanitation to ensure there is sufficient clean water and running hygiene promotion activities.
