Mental health care in Banda Aceh

Half a year after the tsunami hit Banda Aceh most of the rubble has been cleared.Slowly, the people are starting to try to rebuild their lives. But almost every family lost one or more members. Their grief and hurt have barely diminished. After finishing the cleaning of wells and helping rebuilding health clinics, Medecins sans Frontieres is turning its attention to providing socio-psychological care for the victims living in camps around the city.
