The Peace Agreement between Northern and Southern Sudan is three years old. More than one million refugees and internally displaced people have returned home. The situation in the south is stable, but there are still areas where lack of security is rife. And MSF is still forced to provide emergency aid, with more than 130 international and 1300 national staff members in more than a dozen villages and towns.
Svenja Kueühnel reports from a region, where development should have taken over – but where MSF, as an emergency aid organisation is still running one of it’s biggest programes worldwide.
