Shousha, Tunisia: "We are dying slowly"

Libya, Tunisia, Ethiopia, Ivory Coast, South Sudan, Sudan, Somalia / 13.07.11

Since the start of the Libyan conflict in February, over 250,000 of people have passed through the Ras Ajdir transitory camps, located at the northern Tunisia-Libya border. While the majority has been repatriated to their home country, nearly 4,000 people – mainly sub-Saharan Africans – cannot be repatriated due to the difficult situation in their country of origin (Somalia, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Sudan, Ivory Coast).
