Maternity cover – fixed term contract up to 13 months (commencing July/August 2012)

We are looking for an innovative Direct Marketing Manager who will have responsibility for the successful implementation of direct marketing projects within the fundraising team. Specific responsibilities include:

• Developing & managing multichannel communications including TV, mail, online, telemarketing and print.
• Managing significant income & expenditure budgets
• Developing & managing relationships with internal / external partners and stakeholders
• Managing 2 Direct Marketing team members

To be successful in this role you will have proven experience delivering a diverse range of direct marketing projects, excellent communication skills, a strong commitment to building relationships and the ability to analyse complex data.

This position is to research and assemble a guideline addressing the treatment of children hospitalised in MSF projects. Specific responsibilities include: setting the timetable and milestones for the project, using existing materials, consulting with relevant parties, submitting drafts for review and producing the final document.

To be successful in this role you will have a medical qualification with extensive experience in paediatrics, significant MSF field experience in paediatric programs, experience writing protocols and be able to research/review literature.

The Medical Adviser - Paediatrics and Nutrition is part of the Project Unit team in the Sydney office. This position is involved in provision of medical support to the projects of Operational Centre Paris (OCP) group and has specific responsibilities regarding paediatrics and nutrition, including development and review of policy and training.

To be successful in this position, you will be a Medical Doctor with qualifications in paediatrics or extensive experience in paediatrics and nutrition. You must be willing to travel regularly to the field and other MSF offices, have strong written and oral skills in English and French and the ability to work autonomously.
