GENERAL OFFICE ADMIN VOLUNTEERS
Médecins Sans Frontières Australia has a reliable group of volunteers to help with the general running of the Sydney office during normal office hours, which are Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.30pm.
These positions usually involve clerical tasks, although we try to utilise people's specific skills as far as possible. Some examples of the clerical tasks involved are:
- Opening, sorting and counting up incoming mail - this task requires patience and attention to detail
- Make up Welcome Packs
- Sending out receipts to donors
- General data entry and other general admin work
PLEASE NOTE THERE ARE CURRENTLY NO GENERAL OFFICE VOLUNTEER POSITIONS AVAILABLE AT THE MOMENT .....Please check back at a later time
We have some current vacancies for volunteering in our Sydney office. We are going to need volunteers to man our reception desk Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 5:30pm. We will be looking for volunteers to take one shift per week.
Two shifts a day will be available:
8.30am - 1.00pm
1.00pm - 5.30pm
The work will be very routine and is based in an isolated position. As such it would ideally suit people who don’t mind working on their own and who would like to use the time to study, read or access the internet. The general tasks will be:
- greeting guests
- signing guests in
- accepting courier/delivery
- other general admin tasks if required
If you are interested please email kate.fulton(at)sydney.msf.org
We look forward to hearing from you.
