Thank you very much for your interest in inviting a Médecins Sans Frontières/Doctors Without Borders speaker to your organisation. Recently, our office has been overwhelmed with speaker requests from various associations. We are delighted at the increased interest in our relief efforts, and we regret that our pool of volunteer doctors, nurses, logisticians, laboratory scientists, financial controllers and administrators is not large enough to fulfil all speaker requests, so we ask you to read through the guidelines below before requesting a speaker. The majority of requests we fill are from the following:
Speaker requests from the above groups will be considered on an individual basis, with special consideration for events focusing on public health and international health and international humanitarian issues. In order to provide sufficient time to search for an appropriate speaker, we request that you submit your requests 4-8 weeks prior to the date of the event.
