El Geneina, West Darfur

El Geneina, Darfur: Refugees are empty-handed + dependent
A million displaced are currently living in camps in the Darfur region. Although international relief is now arriving, the situation is far from being resolved. The precarious sanitary conditions have led to an outbreak of Hepatitis E, diarrhea and respiratory infections are currently the primary cause of death. Our teams also fear a malaria epidemic which would cause huge loss amongst the already-weakened child population.
