INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY
Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) Australia's first ever Women's Health Discussion Forum was held at the Chauvel Cinema in Paddington, Sydney, on 8 March to mark International Women's Day. Six MSF field workers spoke about MSF's approach to public health on topics including pregnancy care, obstructed labour, obstetric fistula, family planning and safe abortion, sexual violence in Papua New Guinea and female genital mutilation. Moderated by ABC journalist Jennifer Byrne, the event was a huge success for MSF Australia.
