Democratic Republic of Congo : Forgotten War on display at
Alliance Francaise, Sydney April 2008

Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) Australia’s major photographic exhibition, created in conjunction with five world-renowned photographers from New York's VII photo agency, continues to resonate in Australia with its latest showing at the Alliance Francaise de Sydney, opening Thursday 17 April.

A selection of the compelling images will be on view through to Thursday 8 May in the AF Gallery.
Entry is free.
Alliance Francaise de Sydney is located at Level 9, 301 George Street, Sydney, close to Wynyard Station.

Democratic Republic of Congo: Forgotten War aims to raise awareness of the humanitarian crisis in Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) which has been largely ignored, though millions have died in the course of a ruinous civil war and the uneasy peace process still being pursued. MSF Australia’s donors fund to a significant level programmes in DRC.

Feel free to look through the links here for details about the exhibition and MSF’s medical-humanitarian response to the ongoing health needs of the people in DRC.
