Palestinian Territories: Bedouins at the mercy of the Israeli army

22 Feb 2016

Approximately 7,500 Bedouins live in the area around East Jerusalem and Jericho. Bedouin villages are not shown on maps and the Israeli government refuses to allow them to build roofs over their shelters.

24-year old Sauza’s village has been declared a military zone. Villagers have to shoulder the cost when the Israeli army orders for their homes to be destroyed.
